Today, Acquia released its commercially supported Drupal distribution. For those who don't know, Acquia is a company started by Dries Buytaert, the original creator and project lead of the Drupal project. So, Dries starts to make money on Drupal, let's see what this distribution is all about.
You can see more info and prices on the Acquia site. I will only copy here the modules list of Acquia Drupal:
Administration Menu, Advanced Help, CCK (Content Construction Kit), Fivestar, Google Analytics, Image, ImageCache, Markdown filter, Mollom, Pathauto, Printer-friendly pages, Tagadelic, Token, Views, Voting API.
Maybe i'll give this distro a spin someday (i've already played with it on my localhost), but i'm not sure many people wants to pay such a big money only for Drupal platform itself.
In the near future i will write a review of this distro and maybe compare it with Bryght (i've used it long time ago, so it is time to refresh my experience with it)
